Friendship with Christ during this Ordinary time is vital for entering into Lent prepared. Being prepared for Lent, for entering into the desert for 40 days with Jesus, is essential for a fruitful Lent, for a Lent with the Lord. How do we do this?
1. Read the daily readings and travel with the Lord.
2. Ask Jesus to teach you what friendship is to Him.
3. Sit in Silence.
4. Sit in Silence in Adoration.
5. Ask Mary for an introduction to her Son, if you do not yet know Him.
Spending these final weeks of Ordinary Time, this ordered time with your focus on Jesus, what He is doing, praying when He prays to the Father, making friends with others and ultimately making Him the very best friend you'll ever have. Have a blessed Lent!
