Freedom in our Country and Freedom in our Soul
This reflection is on our Country's American Flag. Meditating on this one day while waiting to pick up my daughter from High School, I gazed upon the American Flag. Then I saw something, the mercy of God built into the flag, the Lord Jesus' blood and water in those red and white stripes. Then the dark blue sky with the stars of each of God's beloved states. God the King of the Universe, the universe built into our flag. Our Blessed Mother Queen of the Universe whose mantle she wears. This American Flag is our God and Father, it is our Blessed Mother, it is Jesus's blood and water poured out for those he loves. God loves our Country! God loves us!
