In the Old Testament of the Bible,
God introduces Himself as "the
Lord God Almighty".
He is seen as someone awesome.
When Jesus came, "full of grace and truth",
He instructes us to
address God as "Our Father in heaven".
Further on in the New Testament,
the Apostle Paul refers to God as
"Abba Father", or Dear Daddy.
One thing we must understand clearly
is that Our Father wants very much to be an active Father in our
lives.
However, He will not control us as though we were puppets.
